Mixed feelings for Jaimie van Sikkelerus after BSS race in Cadwell!

Jaimie van Sikkelerus of the MPM Routz Racing team looks back on an intense race in the British Supersport competition in Cadwell. Jaimie's goal was to achieve a podium finish.

The start of the race was difficult, as Jaimie was trapped in the first corner by two riders who deviated from their line. This cost Jaimie about four places. Despite this, Jaimie went on the attack and within five laps was already in fifth place. Unfortunately his advance came to an end when he was unexpectedly hit by another rider in a fast left turn, resulting in a big crash. Jaimie injured his wrist, shoulder and knee and had to be treated in the medical center.

After some painkillers Jaimie decided to start in the second moto on Monday. It turned out to be a difficult race and therefore he finished in 8th place. MPM is proud of this result and wishes Jaimie good luck in the race at Oulton Park in two weeks.
